Professional Summary

I’m a Venezuelan-American composer, performer, and storyteller currently studying in the Royal
Conservatoire in the Hague. My music is focused around communication, specifically on the maxim cuento,
canto, ritmo (story, song, rhythm). I have substantial experience as an arranger, orchestrator, and copyist, and
I am an active instrumentalist and improviser. I am also active as a pedagogue, teaching an introductory
theory course and a rhythm course for composers at the Conservatoire since 2020.

Commissions and Performances

As of 2021, my music has been performed in such places and occasions as the 2019 and 2021 Gaudeamus Muziekweek, the 2019 Erasmus Prize Masterclass with John Adams, the Rhijnhof cemetery, the Spring Festival the Hague, and the Ereprijs Young Composers’ Meeting. Upcoming works will be premiered in the Oranjewoud Festival in June 2021, in June 2020 by Trio Basilova, in Walt Disney Concert Hall and Carnegie Hall by the Los Angeles Philharmonic New Music Group, in November Music in fall 2022, and in the Warsaw Autumn Festival in 2023.
